1. Introduction
Plesk Premium Email powered by Kolab is a comprehensive email solution that integrates advanced email management features with robust security. This manual provides a basic guide to help users navigate and utilize the essential features of Plesk Premium Email.
2. Getting Started
Logging In
- Open your web browser and navigate to the Plesk login page provided by your administrator.
- Enter your username and password.
- Click "Log In" to access your Plesk dashboard.
Accessing Email
- Once logged in, navigate to the "Mail" section in the left sidebar.
- Click on "Email Addresses" to see a list of your email accounts.
- Click on the email address you want to manage to open the Kolab webmail interface.
3. Basic Email Features
Sending and Receiving Emails
Sending Emails
- In the Kolab webmail interface, click on "Compose" or "New Mail."
- Enter the recipient's email address in the "To" field. Use "Cc" and "Bcc" as needed.
- Enter the subject of the email in the "Subject" field.
- Write your message in the body section.
- Click "Send" to send your email.
Receiving Emails
- Click on "Inbox" in the left sidebar to view received emails.
- Click on an email to open and read it.
- Use the toolbar options to reply, forward, or delete the email.
Organizing Emails
Creating Folders
- In the left sidebar, right-click on your email address or any existing folder.
- Select "New Folder" from the context menu.
- Name the folder and click "Create."
Moving Emails
- Select the emails you want to move by checking the boxes next to them.
- Drag and drop the selected emails into the desired folder.

Creating a Filter
- In the Kolab webmail interface, go to "Settings."
- Select "Filters" from the options.
- Click "Create New Filter."
- Define the conditions and actions for your filter.
- Click "Save" to activate the filter.

- In the Kolab webmail interface, go to "Settings."
- Select "Mail" and then "Forwarding."
- Enter the email address to which you want to forward your emails.
- Click "Save" to apply the forwarding settings.

Adding Events
- In the Kolab webmail interface, click on "Calendar."
- Click on the date you want to add an event to.
- Enter the event details such as title, time, and description.
- Click "Save" to add the event to your calendar.

- Click "New Contact."
- Enter the contact's information.
- Click "Save" to add the contact.
6. Security and Settings
Password Management
Changing Your Password
- In the Plesk dashboard, go to "Mail" and select "Email Addresses."
- Click on your email address.
- Enter and confirm your new password.
- Click "Save" to update your password.
Email Security Settings
- In the Kolab webmail interface, go to "Settings."
- Select "Security."
- Enable or configure security features such as two-factor authentication (2FA) and encryption.
7. Troubleshooting and Support
Common Issues
- Cannot Log In: Verify your username and password, and ensure your caps lock is off. If you forgot your password, use the password reset feature.
- Emails Not Sending/Receiving: Check your internet connection and email settings. Ensure you haven't reached your storage limit.
